Think Global, Act Local

Our project started on the subject of human rights. We went through all the human rights and decided to pick article 12 – The Right to Privacy. “No one shall be subjected to arbitrary interference with his privacy, family, home or correspondence, nor to attacks upon his honour and reputation. Everyone has the right to the protection of the law against such interference or attacks.“ We each looked at different parts of privacy that are broken everyday. Key logging, cookies, cctv, hacking, and my section, the future of privacy. I created a questionnaire which asked 2 questions: ‘What is the future of privacy and how will it affect us’ and ‘When do you think the world will end’. I collected all the answers and displayed their answers in my spreads. The numbers shown on the spreads is the date that they think the world will end. It was interesting to see all the different answers, they were are all so different, but none of the outcomes for the future are positive which says a lot.
